Welcome to McDuff English College! We're thrilled to have you join us in your academic journey. These terms and conditions outline the rules and guidelines that apply when you use our tutoring services. Please read them carefully to understand how we work together to ensure you get the most from our programs.
1. Enrolment and Payment
Course Enrolment: Once you’ve completed the enrolment process, your spot in the class is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation email with all the course details.
Payment: Fees for courses must be paid in full prior to the start of the program. We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, or other specified payment methods.
Cancellations and Refunds: We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 7 days before the course starts to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course begins are not eligible for a refund. For ongoing tutoring, you may cancel at any time with 1 week’s notice.
2. Lessons and Attendance
Punctuality: We encourage all students to arrive on time for lessons to get the most out of each session.
Missed Classes: If you’re unable to attend a session, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance. We will do our best to reschedule your lesson at a convenient time. However, missed lessons without prior notice may not be eligible for a make-up session.
Public Holidays: If a lesson falls on a public holiday, it will be rescheduled to a mutually agreed-upon time.
3. Student Conduct
Respectful Behaviour: We expect students to treat their peers and instructors with respect. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in suspension or termination from the course without a refund.
Learning Materials: Course materials provided are for the student’s personal use only. Sharing or reproducing these materials without permission is not allowed.
4. Tutor Responsibilities
Qualified Tutors: All our tutors are highly qualified and experienced, with Australia’s top academic achievers teaching our courses.
Tailored Support: Our tutors are committed to providing tailored support based on each student’s learning needs. We focus on helping you reach your academic goals through personalised teaching strategies.
5. Limitation of Liability
McDuff English College aims to provide high-quality tutoring to enhance your academic performance. However, we do not guarantee specific outcomes, as success depends on various factors, including individual effort and study habits.We are not liable for any damages or losses incurred through the use of our services or materials.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Personal information provided during enrolment is collected and used solely for the purpose of delivering our tutoring services. We will not share your details with third parties without your consent.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions
McDuff English College reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Students will be notified of any changes via email or through our website.
